Understanding depression
Depression can affect mood, sleep, energy, concentration, and daily activities. Major depression may involve a low mood or loss of interest most of the time for at least two weeks. Your provider looks at the full picture; an online description cannot establish a diagnosis.

Your ongoing care
Care may include medication management, therapy referrals, and a follow-up plan. Treatment decisions are individualized and should include a discussion of benefits, risks, and what to do if symptoms worsen. This practice is not an emergency or crisis service.
